One Eyed Lion
Me and my big mouth! I had to go and blog about how my little lion was my most favoritest toy in the world. Well, as soon as Duke got wind of that, he decided to make it his mission to destroy my lion. And last night he succeeded. He ripped off my poor lions eye and ate it! That darn Dukie! And now Mommy wants to throw it away cuz she thinks he will eat the stuffing next. I think we should just hide the lion for a couple days, and as soon as Duke poops the eye out, we sew it back on. Many of my favorite toys have had surgeries done by my mommy, and they have come through it as good as new. Although, I'm not sure how well eyes pass through the system. Maybe your mommy could sew up the hole where the eye used to be? One-eyed animals aren't so bad! Plus, you could rename your lion Hannibal.

I wouldn't want to be around for when he poops the eye out let alone your Mom trying to dig the eye out of the poop! Gidge...do you really want a poop eye for your lion? Do you think that is fair to your lion? Maybe you should just ask your Mom to get a new lion? Oh and take the $$ it costs to get one out of Duke's allowance?

Awww poor Gidget. I am sorry that Duke ate your lion's eye, Gidget. I think it is a good idea to get your mom to sew his eye back on after Duke poops it out. But like Ruby said, you might not want a "poop eye" for your lion...hahaha...

OOh Gidget... Has he pooped out the eye yet??? Our oldest human brother swallowed a penny when he was a puppy and when it came out it was all shiny. Wonder if the eye will look any different?

Oh Gidget,
I'm so sorry about your lion. And it was your favorite toy. Maybe your Mommy will get you a new one. My Mommy isn't a very good doctor (she said something about not even being able to sew a button on Daddy's shirts), so she has to buy me replacement toys.
Have you forgiven Duke? He probably just couldn't help himself. The eyes are the most tempting parts of toys! They're the first parts to go on my loofah puppies! :)
