Duke Is Back In The Doghouse

Well, Duke is back in the doghouse yet again. He got a little anxious last night and decided to use the coffee table as a chew toy. In honor of Duke's latest, shall we say, "achievement", I thought we would take a little trip down memory lane and I would show you some of the other things Duke has destroyed in the past 3 years.

This is what he did last night

This is what he did to an end table

This is what he did to a door

Mom & Dad cover this with a throw rug

This was the first coffee table he tried to eat

And finally, this is what he did to the wall. Mom & Dad tried to fix it, but you can still see his teeth marks

So anyway. I think you get the picture. Duke has some separation anxiety issues. And I haven't even mentioned the three remote control's, several pairs of shoes, and countless toys he has destroyed. And probably a few other things that I have forgotten about. To be fair it had been quite a while since he had destroyed anything. At least until last night. It's nice having a brother who makes me look like a complete angel. Thanks Dukie!

Oh boy! Duke I think we should shake paws! I know someone else who started to chew almost anything! And what's the problem? If they don't want us to chew things, they should play with us ALL THE TIME! :)

Oh my god, I think Duke and Napoleon are related. Nappy has severe serperation anxiety has put 2 holes in our carpet, ate 6 of Adam's books, and chewed on our rocking chair, the end table and the side of my piano! I do have to say he has been alot better since we got him a friend.

Duke -- you need to be a good boy. You are still in the doghouse and don't need any other foreign materials in your belly!

I think it's the underbite that is controlling him. The underbite must chew! Duke doesn't want to do it, but the underbite takes over his body and goes on a chewing spree! You should stand back when the underbite is in control of Duke; otherwise, you could be its next victim!

Ronin, you are so right. My destructive habits could definitely be cured by constant playtime!

Pug Mommy, It's good to know you are taking good care of my long lost brother Nappy. Oh and I was a good boy last night, so I am now out of the doghouse. Wooohoo!

Norman, you hit the nail on the head. When the underbite takes over, it is best to just BACK OFF!

Buster, you also got it figured out. If it isn't the underbite, then it must be Gidgets fault!

Willow & Belle's Mom, our Mom & Dad tried the sour apple spray, and it does work. It's just that there is no way of telling what I might want to chew on next, so the only way it would be effective is if they randomly sprayed the whole house!

Winston, Exactly. Whats more important, some stupid expensive furniture, or my need to chew chew chew!

Boo, Gidget is too shy to answer you. I think she is a little too smitten with your charm.

Kara, I DEFINITELY know how to leave my mark. One way or the other, if ya know what I mean.

Olive, I can't tell you how honored we are to be your desktop background! I just hope we are able to live up to the high cuteness standards you have set for us! Thanks again

Duke out....whew, I'm tired now!

Thanks for showing me the pictures. Now I don't feel badly for all the things I've done. ;) Although..I'm working on a few holes in the carpet. Shall we have a digging contest? ;)

My mommy wanted me to tell you guys that the Seattle pug meetup, that is in Magnuson Park, has changed from MSN groups back to Meetup.com. We just found this out today. They have a meetup next Sunday, the 26th. I need to go sleep off today's pug meetup now! Hopefully you can make it to some Seattle pug meetups.
