Presents From Luci Lu

Finally! Yesterday, we got some of that excitement we have been craving into our lives. It all started in the morning when Mommy & Daddy came home from the store with three new toys for us.

Mommy got a fuzzy pink piggy that makes oinky noises just for me! So of course that was the one that Duke wanted the most!

Then, we got to go to a Pug meetup! Since we live so far away from the meetup, Daddy thought he would try some longer lasting treats to keep us quiet on the long drive. So we got to have our very first Jumbones. Now we know why Pyrite is always raving about them! When we finally got to the meetup, Duke and I had lots more energy to play since we didn't waste it all barking our heads off in the car.
We had lots of fun at the meetup. We saw our buddy Winston and we got to meet his half brother Gorby. He was a pretty cool Pug. And not only is he Winston's half brother, but he is also his uncle. Or nephew. Or grandfather. Or something weird like that. I didn't really understand that whole thing. I'm just glad Duke and I aren't really related. It can be so confusing.
Oh, and we also got a very special surprise at the meetup. We got presents from our buddy Luci Lu. Here is a picture of them before we opened them.

We each got a fuzzy bone, Duke got a rope toy, and I got a little hot dog. Of course, Duke liked my little hot dog the most!
We just loved our presents from Luci Lu. Her Mommy is the one who puts on the Pug meetups and runs the Pug meetup website. We think she is doing an excellent job because those meetups sure are fun! Thanks for the presents Luci Lu, and thanks for all the hard work your Mommy does getting the meetups organized. We really appreciate it!

Saturday night Mommy and daddy went to our cousin Keiths birthday party (happy birthday Keith!). We were pretty worn out so we took advantage of that to catch up on some napping. Then they came home and we all played with our new toys some more. Of course, Duke only wanted to play with whatever toy I was playing with, but it was still fun. All in all I would have to say that we had a pretty good day. A few more days like that and Duke and I might just have to stop complaining quite so much.
